About Me.

I received the highest level of training in the home inspection business. That has given me the title of Professional Home Inspector.
I attended the 448 hour premier inspector training course through Leonard-Hawes Real Estate School
(Kaplan Professional Schools). Combined with on-site education, field training and correspondence
studies, I now have a working knowledge of all the systems and technical areas required to complete
a home inspection.
Being licensed as a Professional Home Inspector, I must follow the TREC Standards of Practice, however, my home inspections always exceed those minimum standards.
I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and after graduating from high school I attended Sul Ross State University where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Soon after that I applied for the Dallas Fire Department as a firefighter. I am now a 7-year veteran with the department and this job has given me great insight to what goes into making a home and how it fuctions to be a home inspector.
You also have to be a professional in Building Construction which emphasis on Design Principles, the way buildings are built, building materials, foundations, floors & ceilings, walls, roofs, doors & windows, HVAC, electrical and finally buildings under construction. As you can see being a firefighter and home inspector go hand in hand.
